Shipping policy
Tumbleweed Furnishings offers both Local Pickup as well as Independent Carrier Transport. In the event you select the shipping option for Independent Carrier Transport, we will source an independent transit carrier for your delivery at the time of completion. Keep in mind the current production timeline for orders placed 12/1/2025 and after of approximately 14-16 weeks (Excluding holiday weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years), is separate from the time it takes to secure a carrier, as well as the shipping/ transit time. It is important to note that these carriers are independent contractors & do not only pickup and deliver our items, but instead map a route of numerous stops along the way. We do not use FedEx, UPS, USPS, Freight or corporate carriers due to the overall sizes and fully assembled, and fragile nature of our pieces. General transit times once the carrier has picked up your order and in route, varies from 7-28 days (excluding holidays), however, these timelines are subject to change. The carrier will communicate with you directly prior to planned delivery day with estimated time/day of arrival. We will coordinate those plans with you on our end as well. This type of carrier does not have the technology available to them for providing electronic tracking numbers, but again will communicate directly as they are approaching your delivery window. Items will be blanket wrapped in transit for protection. Delivery will be made to the first floor and front door of the delivery location. Placement of your order via this website is an acknowledgment of the terms and timelines as outlined herein.
Tumbleweed Furnishings has a no refunds policy in place due to the custom nature of our work. Additionally, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you have selected Independent Carrier Transport and you find that your item is damaged or the incorrect item upon delivery, contact us immediately so that we may evaluate the issue with the carrier and make it right. Failure to communicate any potential concern or discrepancy with us immediately at the time delivery is made by the carrier, will limit our ability to assist without additional shipping fees becoming the responsibility of the customer.
